BodyFit Summer Holiday Programme

Summer Holiday Programme

Our summer holiday programme starts on Monday 24nd July and the booking form, timetable and all relevant information is now available. In addition, a printable summary of the holiday timetable is on the home page of our BodyFit website. We're repeating the system used in previous summer holidays which will allow you to swap and change between classes if needed.

If you choose not to pre-book, the usual 'Pay As You Go' fees will apply:
£6.50 (adult running), £7.00 (adult hall-based classes) and £4 (student).
Remember to check our What's On Calendar for full details and to confirm that classes are going ahead nearer the time. Thank you.

A full timetable will resume on Monday 4th September 2017.

Hospice at Home West Cumbria 5K:
Wednesday 12th July, 7pm.

Join us on Wednesday 12th July, 7pm for a 5K race in memory of Kev Williams and raising money for Hospice At Home West Cumbria in their 30th anniversary year.

Kev lost his battle with cancer late in 2016. He was a regular runner with BodyFit Cumbria and an inspiration to everyone. He was one of our fastest runners but would encourage everyone, no matter what their age or ability. We thought it a fitting tribute to hold this 5K race in his memory.

Please join us if you can. All proceeds go to Hospice at Home. Homemade cakes available to purchase after your run. All abilities welcome. Entries can be made online at RunBritain or on the day.

Also, if you're a member of our classes, we're having a social after the race at Eaglesfield Village Hall. Friends and family welcome too. £5.00 per person for baked potato, chilli and salad, (vegetarian option also available).

Please add your name to the list and pay at classes. We've 32 people booked in so far, so why not join us?

Again, all proceeds to Hospice At Home.

Workington parkrun: Saturday 15th July

Join us for the Workington parkrun on Saturday 15th July, 9am. Our current beginner running group is using it as one of their 'goal' events. Please join us if you can. We're having a 'social' afterward at Workington Cricket Club which is located just 5 minutes walk from the parkrun finish line.

Parkruns are open to all ages and all abilities. However, remember to register before your first event. In the registration process, if you're a member of our running classes, you can name your 'club' as BodyFit Cumbria. Just start typing it in the relevant field and it will appear.

Can't run? How about volunteering instead? All parkrun events rely on volunteers, so please do your bit if you can, especially if you've already run in a few events.

BodyFit 'What's On' Calendar

Remember to use our 'What's On' Calendar to check times BodyFit classes and events rather than contacting us. The calendar is always kept up to date, so no excuses, many thanks.

If the year is selected, the calendar keeps scrolling throughout the entire year showing all classes and events listed.

Looking forward to working with you over the summer.

Sam, Rachel and Team BodyFit.
